By sourcing local and seasonal food wherever possible, we can ensure stock reaches our shop quicker so is fresher and lasts longer. Plus, we don't buy pre-packed food in large volumes. If you just need one onion or two rump steaks, that's exactly what we encourage you to buy - no more than you need.
Protecting the environment
As farm people, the environment and landscape mean everything to us. We do all we can to protect it for future generations by using resources more efficiently and minimising our carbon footprint. Sourcing local food wherever possible, recycling and reducing waste are top of our list.
Celebrating the seasons
We help people enjoy Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter by stocking seasonal produce, plants and cut flowers, as well as decorations, furnishings and accessories.
Making a difference in the community
As well as providing rewarding jobs for local people, we give our time and resources to help with community work, fundraising and education, focusing on schemes associated with young people, healthy eating and the environment.
